Coming soon... | McKinney Maternity Photographer

Baby Kenley is lucky to be born to such wonderful parents.  Their love for each other, combined with their joy and silliness is the perfect environment for raising a happy child.  I can't wait to meet her and hopefully get some pictures. (hint hint!!!!)  Thanks, you two, for a great session. :)

Dramatic B&W | i heart faces | McKinney Portrait Photographer

I have been watching the i heart faces challenges for a while and finally decided to join in the fun.  This week's challenge is all about dramatic black and white images.  As usual, I had a hard time making a decision, but finally settled on one I took back in the fall of 2008.  I have learned so much since then, but I still love this image!

Two, too, cute! | McKinney Twin Photographer

These little cuties have grown so much since their newborn pictures.  The weather didn't cooperate, but I think they turned out fabulous.  I love the colors mom chose for their Easter outfits and the bunny ears...priceless!

Three of a Kind | Frisco Family Photographer

have photographed twins before, but this was my first set of triplets. It was a bit cool and windy, but we still managed to have a great time. They were my guinea pigs on the merry go round.  I saw the idea a few weeks ago and had to try it out.  Now that I have figured out the perfect settings, I can't wait to do it again.   I get dizzy easily, but we had a blast! Thanks for playing with me!!!

Miss S | Frisco Baby Photographer

Look at these gorgeous eyes and adorable smile!  She has developed such a sweet personality over the past few months.  I love watching her grow!

Ashlee | Dallas Senior Photographer

You may remember this beautiful senior from a blog post last fall. She has gorgeous curly hair, so we scheduled a spring session to make sure and get both looks. I am so glad that we did, too, because Thursday session turned out beautifully. We may not have had much in the way of wildflowers, but the trees were gorgeous. Check out the picture of her leaping. I can't wait to find out if her dance team makes it on America's Got Talent. I'm guessing that I just photographed someone who is going to be famous!

A little project

My husband bought me some small black framed mirrors for Christmas that I still haven't hung in the bathroom. Last week I decided that I wanted to incorporate some small square canvases with them for a nice gallary on the wall. Here are some of the images that I managed to get of my girls over the weekend. I love, love, love them!!!! I will be using some of the black and white ones for the wall. I will be sure and post a picture once I get it finished.

Bumble Bee Birthday

I realized last night that I had been so focused on creating all of my new packaging and marketing pieces, that I never shared any pictures of my little Lainy B's birthday party. I tend to go a little overboard with parties. I love them, though! Most everything is bought on sale way ahead of time, so that it is as cost effective as can be. Doing all the work myself saves a lot of money, too. This turned out to be one of my favorite parties ever. We had real honeycomb, which was so cool! I must say that the pinata turned out to be my favorite thing. The fondant bees ran a close second, though! She is a piece of work, but I simply adore her!
