Celebrating a Wonderful New Year AND My 100th Post! Woo hoo!!!

I couldn't have timed my 100th post any better :) 2009 is drawing to a close as I type. How quickly this year has passed. Thank you for making this one of my best year's ever.  I was blessed with such amazing clients this year.  Today was the perfect day to look back at all of the family's who let me share a piece of their memories.  As I sat listening to all the commercials for the "top" this and that of 2009, the urge hit me to choose my own top 10 list. So here it is....after much more contemplation than I even anticipated, I finally managed to narrow down my ten favorite images from this past year's sessions. (My own gorgeous girls didn't make the list, since I felt I was way too biased, but I may do my own personal top 5 tomorrow if I have time.)  I can't begin to tell you how hard it was to choose.....

Now it is your turn to make the tough decisions.  Leave me a comment telling me which of these 10 you like the most.  I will only count your first comment, so choose carefully! Monday night I will tally up the votes before I go to bed.  The lucky winner will recieve a free 8x12 or 11x14 of their print.  I will also use a random number generator to pick one winner from everyone who leaves a comment to get a $15 gift certificate to use towards prints or a session in 2010!  Good luck!

The Bump | McKinney Texas Maternity Photography

I was so excited when I heard that my friend Tracy was expecting.  We taught 4th grade together, the year before I decided to be a stay at home mom.  I remember how much she talked about her sister's little ones and looked forward to having one of her own.  What an incredible blessing, girly.  I am so very happy for you.  Thank you for letting me document your perfect tiny baby bump.  I can not wait to see your little guy!

The Gathering | Frisco Texas Family Photographer

Christmas is the perfect time for family gatherings, and this would certainly qualify as a gathering. What a joy to get to have all of your loved ones together in one place. Thank you for your hospitality yesterday. This was definitely not one of my "normal" sessions, but I enjoyed meeting everyone. Here is a quick sneak peak!

Little M | McKinney Texas Newborn Photographer

This absolutely adorable 13 day old belongs to our Children's Pastor. Scott and Sarah have been such a blessing to all of us at Hope. (Speaking of, if you live in the Frisco area and are looking for a church home, you should come visit Hope Fellowship!) This little guy was so sweet. He was very well behaved, but did not want to go to sleep. :)

Brothers | McKinney TX Family Photographer

Yesterday was a gorgeous day. Sometimes a reshedule works out so well! I've been in family and toddler mode lately, so these two young gentlemen were a nice change of pace. They were a lot of fun and very cooperative, even once the temperature began quickly dropping! Thanks, guys! I know your mom is going to love these. :)

I love this picture!

Togetherness | McKinney TX Family Photographer

The cold weather brought out the togetherness in this adorable family. The luscious brown blanket they thought to bring was perfect! Can you believe how blue their little man's eyes are? I can't wait to see if they stay that way. :)
