Adoration | McKinney TX Child and Family Photographer

Can you see it?   Although at first glance your eyes are likely drawn to the little girl with the beautiful smile and captivating eye contact, within moments they sweep up and to the right and there it is.  Even with only a glimpse of mom's face it is, without a doubt, there.  That look of adoration.  It reminds me of what I feel as I look at my own girls.

Here is a look at a preview I worked up for this family.  They ordered some Organic Bloom frames to go with their prints and this fabulous memo board from the Savvy Photographer. Hopefully I will remember to take some pictures of her products  in action the next time I deliver prints to her house!

You Make the World Sparkle | valentine gift idea

I was looking through some of last year's images for a project and came across these shots of the crayons we made for my daughter's to take to school.  Elaina had just turned 4 and writing "you make the world sparkle"  took a while, but it was the perfect touch to give to her teachers.  I loved how they turned out and how easy they were to make.

We searched the crayon bins for old blue and green crayons.  Then we peeled off the wrappers and broke them into smaller pieces.  After that, just put them the crayon pieces into small muffin pans.  I used more blue than green.  The oven should be at around 250 degrees and just keep an eye on them until they melt.  I added glitter to the melted wax and then let them cool and ta da...sparkly world crayons!

And a peak at last year's valentine cards.

This post definitely has me missing the beautiful fall flowers.  Yes, I said fall.  My blog, as usual, is not up to date.  Maybe that would be a good new year's resolution. :)
