It is such an honor when a client shares my information with a friend.  Sometimes my name gets passed around so much that I have photographed over half the families at a birthday party session. As you may have guessed, this gorgeous couple and their little girl came to me as a referral.  Lucky me!!!

I met these sweet girls through my daughter's preschool.  They are so sweet to each other.   Loved the fact that they weren't ready to go home at the end of the session. :)

Oh Boy | Dallas Newborn and Family Photographer

Decided to do a bit of a highlight of this session.  This session was a mix of posed and lifestyle photography, which is how I like my newborn sessions to go.  It is one of the main reasons that I prefer to do newborn sessions at my client's home.  Everyone is more relaxed and there are plenty of opportunities to step back and get pictures of your family just "being".

First year plans are, without a doubt, one of the best parts of my job.  Not only do I get the pleasure of watching a baby develop into a toddler, but I also get to spend quality time with the families.  By the end of the year, the clients often feel like old friends and I love that!  

 This last one is processed with a film preset, which is different than my usual style, but I just loved the look of it and had to share.

Schwitter Family | Dallas TX Family Photographer

For three years now I have been photographing this family.  We have a standing appointment every year right on Thanksgiving weekend.  It has been so much fun watching each of the individual family units grow.  It is obvious from this picture that grandma and grandpa are getting a lot of enjoyment out of this abundance of grandbabies.  One more arrived just weeks after our session, too.  Love it!
