Decided to do a bit of a highlight of this session. This session was a mix of posed and lifestyle photography, which is how I like my newborn sessions to go. It is one of the main reasons that I prefer to do newborn sessions at my client's home. Everyone is more relaxed and there are plenty of opportunities to step back and get pictures of your family just "being".

There is something extra special about getting to photograph the newborn of a friend. Could this little guy be any cuter?

These baby girls were older than my standard newborns, because they had to spend some time in the NICU. They were 13 weeks early, so these girls are truly little miracles. Although they didn't both sleep for long, I was thrilled with the ones we did get of them sleeping! I especially loved the mirror image.

This family of three has been a client of mine since they were a family of one. I look forward to their Christmas session every year. When I delivered their wall portrait last month, I found a for sale sign in their yard. A job transfer is taking them back to Michigan. They are excited to be closer to family, and I wish them well, but will miss seeing their smiling faces each year.
Although I was there for a newborn session, I snuck in some lifestyle pictures of big brother and sister during her feeding. Now that they are moving, I am extra glad that I did. As you can see, sister was much more excited about showing me her toys, while big brother showed off his gaming skills!

Meeting this precious newborn baby girl was the highlight of the session, but getting to look at mom's fabulous decorating was a close second. Her nursery was painted by her daddy and he did an amazing job, too. Her big sister even shared her fluffy pink tutu for our session!
Better than a Birthday Session | Frisco TX Newborn and Child Photographer
As I stated in my previous post, I always look forward to first birthday sessions. So when Tamron contacted me a little over a year after our newborn session, I was surprised to learn that we were doing a newborn session instead. I loved being close in age to my little brother and you can already tell that big brother adores his new baby sister. Aren't they just the sweetest?

I absolutely loved everything about this session. This family has been with me since my first year of business and so meeting the twins was especially exciting. Soon we will be adding big sister into the session and I just cannot wait!

I can't believe that I forgot to blog this cutie's newborn session. Mom couldn't resist the peacock headband, since their last name is Peacock.

Newborns and Etsy are the perfect pair. It is always so much fun to walk into a house where mom has gone a little etsy crazy! Some of the headbands were a bit big, but they were all adorable and I plan on ordering a few of the diaper covers myself. I'm sharing a bit more than usual, but I just couldn't seem to narrow it down this time.
Dad plays the guitar and they both really wanted it incorporated into some of the shots. I loved how these turned out.
Such a lovely family!
....and mom made these to hang in the nursery. a.dor.a.ble
