Sweet Girls | Valentine Mini Session McKinney Texas

My daughter's best friend and her little sister came by yesterday for a valentine mini session.  Both of my girls LOVE this pair of sisters.  It is always a joy to have them around.  Leigh Anne, I am so glad you decided to come by after the girl's basketball game.  You can't even tell that your little miss was ready for a nap!

This just happens to be one of my favorite families!  I am so thankful that God placed them in our lives.  Tony, Elyssa, Elaina, myself, and even our dog Charlie has benefitted from their kindness and friendship.  I took these pictures a few weeks ago, back when it was still freezing outside.  We braved the weather, since it would be a while before they were all back together again.  Since I never posted, I thought I would share a few from our session.

If you visit often, then you may recognize this little one as the adorable skeleton last October. He is nine month old now and his mom took advantage of the Valentine Mini Session special to get some 9 month pictures done. It was so cute watching him crawl and pull up on things. My seven year old couldn't resist peeking in on us and Mr. J spent the end of the session trying to spot her again. She can be very entertaining. LOL! It was great seeing you again, Jessy. It is so much fun watching him grow.  I can't wait to see him again. :)

Through out the month of January I will be offering Valentine Mini Sessions.  It looks like it is going to be a very cold January, so we will probably want to stay inside!  I've got a great damask background, heart lollipops, pillows, and even a couple of pettiskirts that I can bring.  :)

And the winner is....

#10!  The adorable shot of the twins with their dog.  It was a close race, with only one point seperating 1st place from second and third.  I'll be contacting you soon, Amy.  Congratulations!
There were a total of 44 votes placed, including seven that came via facebook and email.  Blogger comments can be a bit of a pain. :)

Thank you so much for taking time to vote.  Our RANDOM WINNER is #18 Joel Norris!  (FYI...he is the arms in that beautiful shot of the newborn twins.)  Congratulations!  I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to make this a successful contest.  I can't wait to see what images 2010 brings!

My Bias....

Here they are...I put together my top 9 for 2009.  I definitely could have chosen more, but I just couldn't seem to narrow it down to the five I mentioned yesterday.  Oh how I love these beautiful little girls of mine!

The bond between sisters is like none other....just looking at this picture makes my heart smile!
This was a quick snapshot I managed to grab one day when Lainy B fell asleep after removing her diaper and putting on her sister's socks.  If you look closely you can see her snuggling with two more pairs of socks.
This was one of my favorite images from Elyssa's birthday session.  She is so stinkin' cute!
These eyelashes still amaze me....
I love love love this Pippi Longstocking shot.  She is quite the ham!
How does she manage to sparkle even when you can't look into her eyes?
The setting, the girl....couldn't ask for anything more stunning.
When did this happen?  Where did my baby girl go???
...and last but not least, a picture that shows what life at my house is really like!
