Dem Bones

Have you ever seen such a cute skeleton? He wasn't part of my Halloween Mini-session costume contest, but I will definitely be adding him to the polling. His mom contacted be about Halloween cards and after today's session, I'm even more excited about putting one together! Jessy, I know you couldn't wait to see some pictures...so here they are. :) It was such a pleasure meeting you and your family this morning.

M&M

I was so excited to have the opportunity to photograph my neighbor's new twins. I love newborns, so two at once made it even better! The precious little girl was asleep when I got there, but their little man was wide eyed the whole time. Since it ended up being a stormy evening, we wrapped up and made plans to get back together on Sunday, so be on the look out for more adorable images of these two soon. For now, here is a quick peek for you. See you Sunday!

I love this shot. Even though I know their movements are random, it looks like he is telling his sister a secret!

A's Senior Session

>This handsome young man happens to be the oldest son of one of my dearest friends. We got together for a rather quick and somewhat impromptu session last week. He is going to pass out some cards for me (kind-of like my senior rep), so it works out great for both of us. Aaron is an avid reader, loves art, and is a great wrestler. His mom is a giver and has raised him to be the same way. Whether it is a youth mission trip or helping a friend, he steps up to the challenge. He definitely has given his younger siblings (all five of them!) something to look up to. :)

....and I just couldn't resist the comic book temptation.

Halloween Mini Sessions and Costume Contest!

This year, show off your little ones to more than just your neighbors...

I am very excited to be offering my first set of mini sessions along with the first annual Recollections Costume Contest. Each session lasts 15-20 minutes. There will be 5 to 10 images for you to choose from. A 5x7 print and an e-card are included in the $25 fee. Additional sessions can be added for siblings for only $15. One image from each session will be placed on the blog. Once they are posted, voting will begin. The e-card will be in your inbox by Halloween morning, just in time to send it out to all your friends and family. When you do, be sure and include a link to my blog and tell them to go on-line and vote! The winning family receives a free 11x14 print from any session.

You can sign up on-line for you time slot at http://recollectionsphotography.bookmonline.com/schedules

Remember, there are a limited number of spots available!

As a special "treat", I am offering a limited edition Halloween Mini Album. It is a 3x3 accordian style. It only comes in sets of three, which means you can keep one and give the other two away as gifts. You know the grandparents would love it! Along with the books, you get a CD with full printing rights from your session. You can also order 2 sets of wallets (8 total) for the special price of $5. All orders must be placed with-in 4 days, once you are notified that the pictures are in your cart.

Paislie

Paislee...isn't that an awesome name? This little one was just 4 days old. It was so amazing to hold her tiny fingers. God sure does incredible work! I know her mom and dad are sure thankful for this beautiful blessing from above. Congratulations again, you two!

Six Months Already

I loved his newborn images and now I am thrilled with his six month shots. He is adorable, but then again, I'm partial...he is my nephew! Just look at his amazing eyes and cute little hands and feet. The crying picture showed some personality, so I had to throw it in the mix. :)

Sweetheart...

This sweet little one is just one week old. She was the perfect little model. Her big brother absolutely adores his new baby sister. I wish there had been a video camera around to capture some of his comments. So sweet!
