Faces and Flowers | i heart faces | McKinney Portrait Photographer

This week's theme over at i heart faces is Faces and Flowers. This picture has been one of my favorites for the last few years. I was in love with all the sunflowers that were blooming around my neighborhood. One afternoon while my mom was in town I talked her into helping me drag my chair into the field behind an old abandoned warehouse across from my subdivision. We were on a time constraint because of afternoon plans, but it was so hot that we didn't want to stay long anyway. I have continued dragging that chair around to empty fields for sessions, just not that same one...it is now a fire station. That is one thing about this area, locations change on a constant basis. Even in this slow economy this area continues to grow and flourish.

This picture is so pretty! Congratulations on your win at I Heart faces this week. Very exciting. Your daughter is adorable! Especially loved your sentiments about how things are continuing to grow and change even during these difficult times. So true!
