I have always loved sweater weather, but it doesn't fit in very well with family Christmas photo sessions. These beautiful girls braved the cold for our session yesterday afternoon. It appears that winter is officially here. Yesterday's session has to be one of the shortest sessions on record! LOL! I think we were outside for a total of about 18 minutes. This family is adorable, though, so it worked out. Little D man didn't care that it was freezing. He was bound and determined to go play on the playground. I loved when he said, "bye" to everything on the way to the car. Thank you so much for braving the cool temperatures. I'll have the rest ready for you soon.

Christmas is in the air...lights are shining, trees are popping up, and stockings are being hung. I love this time of year! Rachel, thanks for inviting me into the craziness of your day. We managed to get some good shots, even if everyone and everything wasn't cooperating at the same time! Hopefully the washer is fixed, Grant's letter is mailed, Sarah is fed, and you are able to get some well deserved rest. :)

Thanksgiving

In this already very busy season, I felt that it was important to take a minute and remember some of the things that I have to be thankful for. God has blessed me with a beautiful family. He gave me a mother who cooks all my favorites when I am home, because she is my mom, and talks to me almost daily on the phone, because she is my friend. He sent me a dad who loves his girls and enjoys taking care of us. Of course, I am also thankful for my dad who isn't close enough, but is still near and dear to my heart. God has given me the opportunity to pursue something that I love. I am so grateful that my business has grown so much that I can barely keep up! My friends are always there to make me laugh or lend a hand. The list could go on and on... Thank you, God, for everything you are and do and for never giving up on your children.
